My brother Kenneth and I first forged a "working" partnership as teenagers in the pineapple fields of Maui, Hawaii. We picked pineapples for several months together in the summer of '89. While working side by side, in what was oft times a very difficult labor, we had instilled within in us principles we wanted to apply in our present labor. We received high marks from our supervisors on our cheerfulness (GRATITUDE), understanding of what needed to get done (KNOWLEDGE), and following through (COMMITMENT). These are the same three principles that Allen Brothers' Cleaning was founded on. These three important principles: Gratitude, Knowledge, and Commitment are what we believe the "pineapple" stands for. Thus, we felt the "pineapple" was a fitting symbol to represent our company's ideals. Our goal is to share those same enduring principles and everything the pineapple has come to represent to us, with you -- our valued customer.
